Cookie Policy

Cookies are small text files that a website saves on your device. Browsers also offer storage, such as localStorage, that works in a similar way. Websites use them to remember things between visits, like whether you are signed in.

Strictly necessary

• Sign-in session cookies (set by our authentication provider, Supabase, with names beginning sb-): keep you signed in to your restaurant or customer account. They last for your session or until you sign out.
• Cart session (localStorage, emenu.cart.session): a random code that lets your device keep the cart you started by scanning a table QR code, and follow its own orders. It is removed when you clear your browser data.

Preferences

• Theme (localStorage): remembers whether you chose light or dark mode.
• Chosen area (localStorage): remembers the city or location you picked so restaurants near you show first. It stays on your device.

We do not currently use advertising cookies, social media tracking pixels or third-party analytics cookies. If that changes, we will update this page and ask for your consent first where the law requires it.

You can delete cookies and site data at any time in your browser settings, and most browsers let you block them. If you block the strictly necessary items, parts of eMenu, such as signing in or keeping a cart, will not work.
